We supply open door to the resource spaces that include computers and Internet, telephones, and fax machines. Also, task seekers can attend on-site recruiting occasions, workshops on resumé writing, speaking with skills, and task search activities, or pursue more extensive training or accreditations for professions that remain in need. All 95 Tennessee counties are served by an American Job Center with competent personnel and open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our Job Centers are grouped by locations called LWDAs (Local Workforce Development Areas).

Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDAs)

LWDAs are location clusters of counties whose labor market and other employment-related elements are comparable. This suggests each location provides workforce advancement and profession services based upon local requirements. LWDAs are affiliate, or partners who help run and administer programs and services as directed from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) at all of the local job centers throughout the state.
